I pitched this idea at Girl Develop It's NeoHack 2015 and with a team of designers and developers, we set out to gamify water conservation. California is in it's fourth year of drought and we need something fun and engaging to build community while doing good. Daily inputs such as hand washing and tooth brushing feed into a scoreboard where users can earn points towards incentives including discounts on local businesses. Social media integration can boost visibility and give validation. Let's all champion saving water.
